Krystal Marie Ball

Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was a former politician, as well as a TV host on MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and the former co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would leave the show in May 2021 and launch Breaking Points, a new independent venture that will be hosted by Krystal as well as Saagar. Ball hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has guest starred in shows such as Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News), and CNN (CNBC). In 2020, Ball is married to Jonathan Dariyanani. Ball attributes her increased interest in politics to being the mother of 2008's primary elections. Additionally, she was a witness to the US election results while living in Jordan. She was able to see how the election affected those in that country and, as a result, gained an appreciation of the global impact US politics has on everyone around the globe. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district for the election of 2010, but lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She was host of The Cycle, a MSNBC television show that she co-hosted from June 2012 through August 2015. She created the People's House Project, an organization that promotes Democratic causes in May 2017.
